Meeting called to order at 7:05 P.M.

The Secretary's Report was approved

The Treasurer's Report: There was no treasurer's report. Jerry is working on

The 2009 budget.

Old Business:

Tim and Bart Hartson presented the plan for gift certificates for the 2009 season.

Lake Doster Golf Club will give us a 10% add on for every dollar spent on gift

certificates. That means that if there is $100 in the pot for an event, we will get

$110 in gift certificates. The expiration date on the certificates is changed from

the end of October to the end of the year. Special orders may be placed with 

Tim, Todd or David and will be sold at retail price unless worked out between

the member and who ever places the special order. The will apply for the 2009 

season and will be re-evaluated. We will also share the survey results concerning

what items you would like to see in the pro shop.

We are close to getting the handicap computer on wireless and being able to 

make our handicap system easier to administer.

The survey results are done and will soon be available for your review. 51 out of

100 members completed the survey. The Board has already used some of the 

information from the survey to make some decisions….

1. The Bloody Mary will remain a scramble format.

2. The Tuesday league will remain Stableford. There were about 40% that wanted a 

a change. For those of you that want a change, put together a plan for the format 

that you want, how you plan to administer it and present it to the Board. 

3. We are going to change the league from 8 Tuesdays per half to 7. There will be 

2 Tuesdays that we will have a Saturday Event format on a Tuesday. They will be 

June 23rd and August 18th.

4. Don Ampersee will meet with Par 5 and discuss your comments, concerns and

items that you said you would want the pro shop to stock.

New Business:

Rick Riggin has put together packets for all the Saturday/Tuesday events to 

guide the event chairman. Please see Rick and volunteer to run one of the events.
