Absent: Steve Henderson, Scott Rachel, Tom Vanherweg, Jack Kellogg,  Mike Hills, John Light. 

 

Meeting started at 7:05 pm in the Lake Doster Golf Course banquet room .   

Bart Provided an update on course operations and winter preparations.
Bart advised that the inventory available in the pro shop will be reduced later in October. 
Discussion of gift certificates resulted in a future meeting to discuss further on November 11 at 7:00 pm.
Bart left the meeting at 7:35 pm
Minutes of previous meeting were approved. 
• Treasurers report approved.  
• Old Business:
  • Discussion of Annual Banquet. October 20 at 6:00 pm. Will be run by Jerry Bray. Banquet to be funded for members.
  • Report on Club Championship from Marlin Kleckner  Event is concluded.
  • Report on Fall Match Play- 2 man event from Don Ampersee, event not yet concluded. 
  • Report on Golfer of the Year from Marlin Kleckner.
  • Report on  Senior  Member-Member from  Jerry Bray. 2 4  players participated.
  •  Report on Fall Classic  from Dave Fortune. Event was run by John Light. 
  •  Report on Snooty-Snotty event.  Not a LDMGA event , but enjoyed by many. The event was run by Phil Baker.
  • Discussion of "Ryder Cup" style event with another golf club. Mike hills to lead this, no update.
  • Discussion of rules compliance outreach efforts.
  • Discussion of Board Members for next year and the election process.

• Next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday November  11th at 7:00 pm.
