Lake Doster Golf Course Rating and Slope are changed for 2011

The Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) visited the course last year and completed a comprehensive assessment. The results are listed below. Your official handicap provided by GAM will be calculated using the new numbers, effective immediately (using your scores retroactively).
Blue Tee:
Old Rating= 72.1            Old Slope:= 131
New Rating= 71.7           New Slope=126

White Tee:
Old Rating= 69.8           Old Slope=128
New Rating=69.1            New Slope=123

Yellow Tee:
Old Rating=67.0             Old Slope=123
New Rating=66.5           New Slope=119

To Post or Not To Post?
According to USGA rules, rounds played from Nov. 1 – March 31 in Michigan must NOT be posted. However, if you play in a state with a year-round golf season like Florida or Arizona during those months, these scores MUST be posted.
